- In Memory of a loved one or close friend who recently passed (Any Amount) directly placed into the main scholarship fund.
- Establish an Annual Memorial Scholarship or special donation for a specific amount ($250, 300, 500, 1000, etc.) to be included in the award amount given a graduate the year of. A Memorial or donor Page will be added to program book.
- Support the program by taking an ad in the annual program book. Please See Details below.

52nd Annual LAC Scholarship Award Dinner at the Amber Room - June 11, 2025

We are proud to announce the 52nd Annual Lebanon-American Club Scholarship Awards to be presented to a Club member's son or daughter on Wednesday, June 11, 2025 at the Amber Room Colonnade in Danbury. The graduating recipients will be recognized for academic achievement, fine character and leadership ability. Scholarships will be awarded to individuals who plan to pursue higher education and who demonstrate their ability to achieve academic success. This year the following graduating seniors will be honored and awarded: (TBD)

Applications - Status Open

Applications submission deadline for eligible graduates (see eligibility and application below) is Monday April 28th. This should include all requested materials. Interviews will be scheduled shortly after. We plan on having a program book and a formal dinner at the Amber Room.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS are as follows:

1. Applicant must be graduating from high school, prep school, or trade school this school year.

2. Applicant must be continuing education in at least a two year program such as college, junior college, nursing school or other higher educational institution.

3. Applicant must be the son or daughter of a member of the Lebanon-American Club or member of the Ladies Auxiliary. Member parents must be in good standing (i.e. up to date on dues), supporting and participating in club functions for at least two years prior to graduating year, this year as of January 2023.

4. Applicants must complete the scholarship application, essay and submit Digital photo of himself/herself (Closeup/Passport Photo like) no later than Monday, April 28, 2025.

5. Applicants are asked to provide personal information including names of parents, the high school attended, college choice, future goals, etc.

6. Scholarship Selection Committee will interview each applicant at appointments to be scheduled at a set date for all applicants after submission of scholarship application. Interviews to be conducted in person. Remote interviews for special reason, can be made on a case by case basis.

Scholarship applicant's attendance is required at the Dinner on June 11, 2025, to be eligible for any award, exceptions will be made for extreme circumstances. While formal invitations will be mailed please save the date and note reservations are required by Mon. May 19, 2025
