Lebanon Day - Flag Raising and Lebanon Independence 75th ceremonies - Sun. July 1st

You are invited to attend the 15th Annual Lebanon American Day which will take place at 12:00 PM on Sunday July 1st beginning with a Flag Raising Ceremony at Danbury City Hall located at 155 Deer Hill Avenue in DanburyConnecticut.  Lebanon American Club officers will be joined by Danbury Mayor Mark Boughton and other local, State and Federal Officials to recognize the contributions of the Lebanese-American community to greater Danbury and to Commemorate the
75th Anniversary of Lebanon's Independence from France.  This year we will also honor Beverly Ackell for a Lifetime of Community Service. After the ceremonies, there will be a traditional Lebanese Luncheon at the Lebanon American Club located at 22 West Street in Danbury.  The menu is Kibbee Nay, Chicken and Rice, Hummus with Salad (cost $30, or $15 for children under 10 years).
